ACES is a type of asymmetric supercapacitor, pseudocapacitor, and composite capacitor, using special materials to enhance energy density and ensure safety. It achieves high energy density, high-rate charge/discharge, high safety, long lifespan with no maintenance, and low-temperature operation.
ACES combines the ultra-fast charging capability of supercapacitors with the energy density characteristics of lithium-ion batteries, creating a hybrid system optimised for rapid charge-discharge cycles and with no electrochemical reaction
